LCPR History

The Lake Chelan Poker Run started in 2001 and was successfully organized by Scott & Liza Pehrson and Buddy & Alex McClellan. The LCPR was started, then called Lake Chelan Offshore, to create a format for the larger offshore type boats come together for a weekend of fun & sun. In 2007 the Pehrson’s & McClellan’s graciously handed over operation of the LCPR to the Lake Chelan Boating Club. Since taking over we have been expanding our run to attract boaters of all types & sizes, from the weekender to the avid boater. This event in no longer just for offshore boats, in 2008 a 16′ Boston Whaler even took 3thplace.
