There are two types of memberships that can be issued by the Lake Chelan Boating Club.
Regular Membership
$250/yr
REQUIREMENTS
- 21 years of age or older
- Must hold residence in the counties of Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan, Washington
- Must abide by all the Bylaws and requirements of the Club
BENEFITS
- Voting Rights Use of Mill Bay
- Facilities Use of Club House
- docks per dock rules
Affiliate Membership
$400/yr
REQUIREMENTS
- 21 years of age or older
- Must hold residence in the counties of Chelan, Douglas, or Okanogan, Washington
- Must abide by all the Bylaws and requirements of the Club
BENEFITS
- Invitation to all social functions
- No meeting or work party attendance required
- Use of Boat Club facility at Mill Bay
- Seasonal Slip privileges available only when slips remain empty after being offered to anyone on the slip waiting list or regular members in good standing or new regular members
- Ability to use Day use docks
- No Voting privileges
Dock Assessment ($25/yr)
In Addition to the Membership Fees the Dock Assessment Fee will continue until further notice.
Initiation Fee ($100)
All New Members are required to submit a non-refundable initiation fee to become a member.
To be a Member in Good Standing
A member must do the following:
- All dues and fees must be current and paid by due date.
- Must attend a total of seven (7) functions. Two (2) must be a club sponsored work party or Board directed special project. In lieu of attending the two (2) required work parties, members have the option to pay a fee, that will be set by the board of directors annually and due by October 1st of each year. Fee must be paid before you can renew membership the following year. The remaining five (5) can be any combination of meetings, social events, Board meetings and club sponsored work parties.
- A member not in good standing will lose his/her Cabin and/or Slip, and a place on a Cabin/Slip Wait List. In addition, member will lose their voting right within the club.
- It is the member’s responsibility to ensure they are in good standing. A listing of all members and their activities will be posted in the club house by June 15th. If there are circumstances that prevented your membership in good standing, you may write to the board regarding this matter.
